Following on from my previous hub, My September Resolution, I would like to give an update on how it is all going, because you know, I said I would.
On Eating Less Junk Food .....
I have gotten no where on this!! I swear if they put a Sumo Salad, Subway or a Nandos near my house and work then it would be so more convenient to get them. But like my boyfriend has pointed out, it is a 5 minute drive in all directions to 4 McDonalds. Ugh. But I guess I have cut down a little...just not on the pizza. I think I have that like 3 times a week! Thank god for free food when you run the place!! Man or would I be poorer!
On Handing in My Uni Assignments in On Time ....
I reckon I have successfully completed this one except for one more assignment which is due next Friday... wish me luck! It is pretty simple anyway. I think I have gotten a tad better with my time management skills, especially since I cleaned my office :/ On the bright side I have now figured out what I would like to study for real next year :) Occupational Therapy :) :)
On Spending Less Money on Useless Things...
Yeah, I suck. Man do I ever fail at this. Just today I bought a top I didn't need...oh and a cute little Forest Ghost key ring slash mobile phone dangly thing! Its heaps cute...
Think I need support on this one!
On Cooking From Scratch At Least Once a Week...
Winner! Woo I can do this now that I have at least one night of with my man each week now. I have been making meat and vegie dishes to die for! Yum! Now it is just doing the dishes on a regular basis...moan! Loathe!
On Spending More Time With the Boy...
Well, this one will always be a work in progress. But I have reduced my green thumb and let him be free a little more now, so when he does come home to me he wants to spend time with me! Which is awesome I might add.
There we go, a brief summary on my continuing fight against the current horrible habits of my life... :-) I hope it continues to go in the upward direction!

I can give you one helpful tip - if you're already cooking once a week, just double your recipe. Have half for dinner and freeze the other half in two portions. That's two more days a week you won't be tempted to get pizza or McDonald's.
Nice hub.
L.T.
Two and a half outta five ain't bad - it's 50%!
You know the big 5 was to do with fruit and veg.lol.
It's almost the end of October - So, hows it going now?
What you need is a good dose of will power and an alternative snack or lunch box (fruit and veg).
I think you are asking too much of yourself too many resolutions all at once. I suggest you set yourself one 'achieveable goal' per month, say and see if that helps.
It's nice that you and your boyfriend are spending that quality time together and that you are cooking from scratch at least once a week - it would be even nicer if you both did it all together including the washing up. Takes half the time with two and increases the time together.
Good luck with it all.
